First let me explain that is a Not-For-Profit fundraising book put out by Sisters in Crime. For information on how to order copies contact DJBouchard@aol.com . Mystery writers and Sisters Crime members donated the recipes to this delectable, delightful cookbook. Mind you it’s not just any cookbook. This one is meant for those of us who are passionate about our mysteries and our desserts!

For the mystery buff in you there is the tongue-in-cheek criminal advice like, Interrogation Techniques, Evidence, and Feigning Amnesia to Avoid a Murder Rap, the subjects and humor go on and on.  As for the recipes, the humor is light, but the dedication to the taste buds  is dead serious. How about “An Arresting Chocolate Cake”? (So, easy you can make it with one arm hand cuffed to a post.) Recipe and humor donated by mystery author Susan B. Casmier. Then there’s Hit Woman Gingerbread (you’ll die happy), Butterballs: Rest in Pieces Cookies  (Family recipe that’s a killer), and Choke-A-Lot Nibblers, (a nibbling killer), just to name a few.

Desserticide II is a wonderful cookbook, and creating it for a Not-For-Profit fundraiser is an excellent idea, because there are millions of mystery readers out there who just eat up this kind of item. I recommend you email for your copy now.
