Fix-It and Forget-It Diabetic Cookbook
Slow-Cooker Favorites to Include Everyone!

by Phyllis Good

Having a full time career restricts the time I get to spend in the kitchen. I have quickly discovered in order to have hot home cooked meals the slow cooker is my best friend. What a treat to find Fix-It and Forget-It Diabetic Cookbook: Slow-Cooker Favorites to Include Everyone! My father is a diabetic and it is imperative that he have a well-balanced meal. Anyone who has a loved one with this disease knows the restrictions that come with food preparation.

This book is an outstanding collection of mouth-watering recipes. Each one is simple to understand and comes with an exchange list value and its basic nutritional values. People who have diabetes need this information so they can manage their calories, carbohydrates, fat, and sodium counts. I was highly impressed with the overall make up of this cookbook. Having already tried several of its recipes I can attest to each one being delicious. In the short time I have read and reviewed it, it has already found a permanent place on my keeper's shelf. Very highly recommended.
