The Rustic Table
Simple Fare from the World's Kitchens

By Constance Snow

The Rustic Table is a magnificently written cookbook for those of us who love to cook and recreate those old family recipes but never have the time.

Most dishes in this book you will be able to make with just a modest list of groceries, which really helps in today's times when those of us who love to cook have to stretch that dollar.

Rustic cooking is just packed full of down home recipes people will love to eat. With each section of the book you will surely find something to please everyone in the family, starting with the first section, "Here comes the Sun," where you will find plenty of mouth watering ideas for breakfast. Other sections are "Daily Bread," "Global Grains and Beans," "Noodling Around," "From the Garden," and plenty more including a "Humble Pie" section and "Sweets Pure and Simple."

As for this reviewer, after trying the "Greek Cinnamon, Honey Doughnuts" and seeing my family gobble them up I can't wait to try more of these excellent recipes.
