The
Sorority- Merilynn
By Tamara
Thorne
The
second book in The Sorority trilogy continues on with a
new main character named Merilynn. Although she does realize that
something is not quite right with the sorority or the girls in it,
she does not know that pure evil resides there. Malory Thomas is
not just their leader; she is hundreds of years old and a stone
cold killer. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants, which
is unfortunately going to put Merilynn in the way of grave danger.
Malory's quest for a lost object that holds extreme power will bring
back Eve from the first book, in a way that we didn't expect to
see her. Kendra, one of the secondary novels also plays a large
part in the story and I look forward to seeing how she will aid
or hold back the good side. The third book in the trilogy will be
from Samantha's point of view and I am happy about that because
so far, she is the character with the most appeal.
Thorne
terrifies while stimulating the readers. The tension in the book
is thick but not stifling, therefore allowing me to focus on every
aspect of the writing. The characters are well developed with a
sense of self. Merilynn is a character that, by the end, I was rooting
for. I can't wait to see what happens in the conclusion of this
creepy trilogy.
