The Woods Around Carter’s Lake
By M.J. Konevich
Father
Randall has lived in Manchester all his life. He has married and
baptized most of the community. While he stays busy with his congregation,
he always finds time for his evening stroll around Carter’s
Lake. The rumors concerning the lake were something he always smiled
about. He didn’t believe a witch summoned a demon she could
not return. Until just recently when the voice started to speak
to him.
While
hospitalized for a heart attack Father Randall meets Meredith Swanson.
She is his physician during his stay and becomes a great ally when
he needs it the most. Together they discover so much death and evil
lurking in the small town and battle the force with a most unsuspected
ghost. Manchester, it seems, is not what Father Randall had thought
it to be.
“Scary! Scary! on the
edge of your seat, Thrilling!” An exciting, very well written
book that will have you gasping! I loved this book! So very detailed
I felt like I was there, along with the characters. I can’t
say enough about the creativity of it. The book comes very highly
recommended!
