Glass paints aren't just for glass - why not use them for making greetings cards? In place of the glass you will need to purchase some clear acetate but this is one craft for which you don't need much else, and even children can have a go now that water soluble glass paints are available. This is a great hands-on book too, large format and packed with helpful step-by-step photographs and projects to work through for cards for every occasion. All are easy, and I liked the fact that every card featured in the book canactually be made and there are no "gallery" pictures of very advanced work. Towards the back of the book it might have been nice to feature something a little more challenging and detailed, but although the title doesn't contain the word this is very much a beginner's primer, and a truly user-friendly one.
