If you are looking for a treasury of Christmas designs for whatever craft project you have in mind, then this book ought to solve some problems. Elaine Hill's style is a very Victorian one, reminiscent of old posters and has a fin de siecle Art Nouveau appearance that looks both opulent and sophisticated. If you like Victoriana, but want something a bit different, then this slim but nicely crammed (and reasonably priced) book will yield forth angels, Santas, children, fairies, trees, snowmen and more; a few of the designs are a bit more contemporary.

What they all have in common is lots of detail. They are also quite large, with several A4 sized ones, many more half as big and not very many of a size suitable for greetings cards, which I thought was a pity, as this is probably the item crafters make the largest quantity of when preparing for the festive season. If your project is rather larger though, and you seek to adorn a wall hanging, T-shirt, tablecloth, welcome sign or iced cake (the possibilities are legion) then here are some pretty impressive designs.

This is the seventh in Search Press' very popular Design Source Book series and you are free to use a copier to make them larger or smaller, but most of them would become impossibly fiddly if shrunk, so it's best to think large. You can then use them for your personal use or sell the items you make for charity BUT these are NOT public domain so no commercial use is permissible. You can have a lot of fun with this book, so let your imagination run riot.
