Card Makers & Scrapbookers' Pattern Book
By Various Authors

If your crafting interests fit into the description above, then here is a book full of useful, copiable designs. There are borders for your cards or photographs, alphabets, flourishes and motifs. Many themes are represented in here, from Christmas and Halloween to Ancient Egypt, Celtic, Indian, floral, fantasy and Art Deco to name a few.

In case you are not sure where to start with this cornucopia of pictures there is a helpful introduction from UK scrapbooking shop Cotswold Keepsakes. A few ideas on how to use the pictures are given here to get you started but for any dedicated crafter just looking at them is enough to start the creative juices flowing. They have been selected from the Design Source Book series (many titles reviewed on this site) and at the reverse of the book is a list of the titles the designs have been taken from. This means that people can then buy individual books for a wider range on any particular favorite theme if desired - a good idea. As usual these designs are mainly fairly large, so scrapbookers are probably more catered for than card makers (hence the foreword) but the fact that you are permitted to copy them means that the sizes can easily be altered. Even if you favor a different craft medium such as embroidery, appliqué or even sugarcraft you are bound to find some usable designs in here. A useful resource for crafters.
