Jo Gartin's Weddings
An Inspiring Guide for the Stylish Bride
by Jo Gartin
Jo Gartin's Weddings: An Inspiring Guide for the Stylish Bride
is like having your best friend in book form, offering tips and ideas
for everything wedding related, from Save-the-Date cards to the important
tiny details. This book would be a wonderful gift for a bride-to-be
or just to have in your library. Though the focus is on weddings,
the tips she gives would be great for any celebration. The ideas are
fresh and funky and the style Jo Gartin exudes is approachable and
not stuffy. This book is essential for a bride with a limited budget
or a bride without all the resources at her fingertips. Jo Gartin
states that she wants the guests to be in awe of the wedding, not
for what was spent. This book gives you that edge. The resources that
she lists are all easy to access online. Be sure to check out her
tips on invitations for something a little different and also her
ideas for attendant gifts.
One thing I
love about this book is that it is not a planner. This is strictly
an idea book and a refreshing change from the typical "bride guides".
Jo Gartin is really on to something with her ideas. I loved the
personal touches she put in this book, especially the vows she said
with her husband.
