Inspirational Scrapbooking: Heritage
Inspirational Scrapbooking: Love and Marriage
Edited by Joy Aitman
Most scrapbookers include photos of ancestors or weddings in their pages, and here are two books showing you how
to make the most of those all-important pictures. I often find that if an author’s photos or style is totally
unlike mine then the book does not inspire me, but this is not a problem here as it is multi-contributor. Ms
Aitman’s work is in here too, of course, alongside that of eight other designers. Each page is on a different
topic, and this is bound to get those creative juices flowing. In Heritage, for example, you will learn
how to preserve those precious family stories before they vanish forever with themes such as vacations, wartime
memories, childhood, places etc. Here, too, you will find ways to make black and white photos more interesting,
using memorabilia and making minibooks.
Love and Marriage follows the same pattern with its own theme. At the end I was left with quite a few
more ideas to play around with. |
