Woven Crystal Beaded Jewellery

by Celine Marchand

If diamonds are a girl’s best friends, perhaps crystals are her second-best? At any rate, they are a lot cheaper, if not exactly inexpensive, and make up into some wonderfully sparkly bling...

...To rhyme with ring, which is the main jewelry item found in this book. Matching some of the rings are bracelets and necklaces, but this is very much aimed at the beader who wants a lot of cocktail rings to go with just about any outfit you can name. There are some truly excellent diagrams in here, easy to follow for anybody with even a modicum of beading knowledge (although not perhaps for the complete beginner), plenty of instructions with each piece, plus some large and stunning photographs. These not only whet your appetite, but also serve to show you what the finished piece ought to look like. I particularly like the way the beads are shown with the list of items needed for each piece, so you can see what to buy. A very hands-on book.
