have gathered together all the wonderful money and timesaving tips that
you have ever heard and some you have not. They have taken common, everyday products that are generally in every house and found new and wonderful uses for them. No need to go out and buy all those specialty cleaners when the Haley's can tell you how to do it so much cheaper and often so much better. The book is divided into 17 chapters covering all aspects of your daily life. The first chapter deals with the kitchen. Substitutions for items you have ran out of top the list. Did you know that to replace food coloring in frosting you could use unsweetened Kool-Aid added to the sugar? How about your furniture? Got an ugly water ring and your grandma's old buffet? Try making a paste of cooking oil and salt. Apply, wait fifteen minutes and wipe off. Polish as usual. If hints like this are greatly appreciated and used in your house, this is the book for you. The final chapters involve measurements and their equivalents. The last section is a very extensive index making the tips easy to find in an emergency. Isn't that what most of these things will be used for? |
