This is an autobiography of Reverend Howard Koenig, a man who as a child had a seed planted in his heart to serve the Lord. When he finished high school, he went into the military instead of going to college and seminary. He took a detour from the tugging in his heart to fulfill the desires of the flesh: but God our Creator, knowing more about us than we ourselves, knew what was needed to water this seed in his heart.

A lonely woman entered into his life, and things began to turn back toward the desire to serve God. Like a child learning to walk, he learned to trust God totally. Though, at times, he didn’t understand why the direction or even where the money was going to come from to get him there. He didn’t let that doubt overwhelm him but went right to prayer and any questions or doubt was replaced by trust. He grew to be assured that God is never late but always on time, where ever He leads us.

The man was sent to different countries, to encourage, to heal, to direct, to save souls, and to bless. The more he trusted God’s direction, the more he loved God and strived to obey without question. He returned his love for God by keeping God’s divine appointments. This book is a witness for our missionaries of the dedication, struggles, and sacrifices they face. This book is also dedicated to the lovely woman he married and to their children.

The book teaches us to pray for mission families so we may be led to intervene, to help support, to extend a hand and fulfill our own divine appointments. These things have always been a part of God's plan for us; yesterday, today and tomorrow. A great book, a love story between a man and his creator.
