Much of the time, we hear only the bad stories of this world. This book reassures me there are just as many good things happening in life. The key word is "love." Where there's love and sincerity in our hearts to do something for others, there is a reaping of "miracles", as I would call them, instead of coincidences.

One of my favorite stories is the one about Michael's song for his baby sister. This 3-year-old boy's desire to sing to his baby sister brought about a miracle for his whole family. Pure things and deeds came from a child's heart. Another story I liked was about Brenda Tucker, a self-sacrificing child who cared for her mom, brothers, and sisters, then raised her own family as a single parent, always putting them first in personal possessions and time just to them. She did discover something she felt she would enjoy doing for herself, but it seemed to be impossible for it to happen. Then, out of the blue, her love and devotion was rewarded in a most unusual way.

This book is wonderful. It would be a great gift for friends and family. Go to the Small Miracles Homepage
