She talks about hearing from God in various ways, including one’s thoughts, the words of others, and even dreams, giving various examples throughout the book.

      Joyce’s points in trying to hear God are: arming one’s self against negative words, people and even religious legalistic rituals that distract one from God. One of Joyce’s biggest points is that Jesus did die for his people so that they, themselves, could go before God instead going through someone else or making a sacrifice. It’s a gift she feels all Christians should practice in order to have a peaceful, enriched life.

      Once again, the author narrates her own audio book. Although her voice seems less dramatic than in her meetings, her advice is reasonable and experienced.
