A
Journey to the Heart of Three Faiths
By Bruce Feiler
The search
for the ancestor to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam takes the author
through war zones and much turmoil while he seeks answers from religious
leaders. The questions of where each religion started and how each
of these religions has become powerful in the world today are discussed
at length. Similarities and disparities of these religions are discussed
and defined while thought-provoking ideas are put to the test.
This book is a very
real look at today’s most influential and powerful religions
and how each share a common ancestor. Bruce Feiler has done an excellent
job at describing the events that took place to shape each religion
and how they attained such proportions as seen today. Mr. Feiler
also poses thoughtful questions on how to create peace between each
religious sect and what that peace would mean to the world today.
