He Shall Be Called
150 Names of Jesus and What They Mean to You
by Robert J. Morgan
The man of many names: the Son of God, the Son of Man, the Alpha and the Omega. The list
is nearly endless. He's known as a teacher, a healer, and the last sacrifice for the savior
of humankind's souls. Morgan, in He Shall Be Called, expands on each and every name
given to Jesus Christ and explores the deeper meanings of each one.
The list of names is separated into groups labeled by the time in which he received
those names. Group one is titled "His Nativity Names"; Group two: "His Royal Names"; Group
three: "His Authoritative Names." Fifteen groups in all, Morgan has brought to light the
true three-dimensional nature of the one known as the Savior of Mankind.
Being interested in theology and the connection between Jesus and Modern Christianity,
I jumped at the chance to review this book. The information included is incredible and really
gives the reader a chance to see that the visions of Christ that have been painted over
the centuries of Christianity are all true in some way. Morgan gives the reader a chance
to relate to Christ in a way that one has never been able to before-as a human whose life
saved us from being eternally damned. I recommend this book for anyone willing to expand
their mind about the youngest of the Ancient Religions and one of the strongest figureheads
that has endured throughout its evolution. |
