This Biography was written and now updated by Ruth Graham's childhood
friend, the famous mystery author, Patricia Cornwell.
Ruth McCue Bell was born June 10th, 1920 in China. The year of the Monkey,
which is according to Asia Astrologers, spawns multi-talented adventuresome
and witty people, which fully describe Ruth Bell. Introduced by a friend,
Billy Graham stated, "I fell in love with Ruth that minute."
Patricia Cornwell's portrait of Ruth Bell Graham is very sobering. It
tells of where Ruth's strengths came from and about her parents who where
missionaries in China. The struggle and heartache experience by Ruth in
her youth is what made her the pillar that God uses to prop up his messenger
Rev. Billy Graham and made him the person that he is.
I enjoyed reading this biography. It has given me a great respect
for the woman who stands next to Billy Graham.
