Junie B. Jones' kindergarten teacher makes an announcement, the class is going to have a Valentines Day party and everyone needs to bring 17 cards, one for each person. when Valentine's day comes Junie B. receives a very large, mushy valentine. Who could have sent this? No one knows, and it's signed your secret admirer. Junie B. feels she has to find out who sent it. 

Junie B. Jones & the Mushy Gushy Valentine is full of adorable humor. Children will enjoy reading this book. I found it fun to read, and loved the use of language Junie used, like, Valetime's day, beset friends and huffy. Although the illustrations are in black and white, they are good and show detail.
