Little Fern is a baby
rabbit who is confronted by her first snowstorm in this exciting adventure.
Simmons' delightful illustrations adorn every page with whimsical characters
and lively action.
Mama Rabbit is busy
trying to get their home ready for the first snowfall and sends Fern and
her brother Bracken out to play while she changes the hay in their burrow.
They decide to play hide-and-seek, and Fern is going to hide first. Everywhere
she finds to hide is already occupied by another creature that needs the
space for winter. Then when it's Bracken's turn to hide, Fern can't find
him. She searches everywhere. . .then it starts to snow. It is wonderful,
fluffy stuff, but it soon covers the ground, and it is cold! Oh, dear,
the whole woods has changed. . .and where is Bracken?
A wonderful book to
cuddle up together with on a cold winter night. Characters you will love
help to reinforce family values and togetherness
