This is a timeless Christmas tale about an angel who is known as a “problem angel” when he is born into heaven. In the beginning, the Littlest Angel is known as mischievous and ear splitting.

The illustrations in this book are probably the best I’ve seen. They are in detail and full of color. Paul Micich brought out the feeling of the characters in his pictures. This is my favorite story of all time. It was first debuted in 1946 on the Christmas radio show “Manhattan At Midnight.” At the time of Charles Tazewell’s death in 1972, this classic was in its thirty-eighth printing and was called an “international classic.” It has sold 5 million copies.
