My World, the companion to Goodnight Moon, is a cute book about comparisons. Through pictures and rhymes it talks about the difference sizes between the child's things and the parent's things. The illustrations in both black and white and color are very well done. The rhyming is entertaining and helps the child to understand the difference between his/her world and the grown up world. The characters are charming as always and My World is a great addition to the series, which includes Goodnight Moon and Runaway Bunny. It's a wonderful collaboration of author and illustrator that has gives the parents the advantage when they sit down to read this wonderful classic to their children. Parents can expect My Worldt to be a returning activity.
