I just never get enough of Holly Hobbie's wonderfully illustrated children's books. This is her fifth Toot and Puddle story and it just mesmerizes the little ones. Her imaginative watercolors illustrate every page of this story of the little pigs of Woodcock Pocket.

Puddle is all ready for Christmas but Toot is caught in a winter storm and may not get home in time. Puddle and Tulip, the parrot, make the fruitcakes and decorate the tree. . . but they can't mail the Christmas cards until Toot can sign them.

It takes help from a very special character, and a little bit of magic from Great-Great-Aunt Peg's lucky nut to get Toot home. Read this delightful story aloud to the whole family this Christmas season. It will give everyone a warm, homey feeling.
