This wonderful story that promotes laughter is about the effect of laughter on all the wacky characters. Doug Keith has perfectly captured the essence of the story with his captivating, lively colored illustrations, including Gadoosh's wild purple hair and inside- out magic shoes. She's a mysterious woman who needs a home, and Jaimy and Jake are just the ones to help her find one.

Gadoosh gives out magic "Press-here-to-start" buttons to everyone to be worn over their heart, and then Jaimy, Jake and Gadoosh lead the bewildered teacher and the enthusiastic students on a wild adventure. Hearing the children's laughter makes Gadoosh "Whoosh" through the air, spreading contagious joy everywhere in a cheerful romp that will have everyone laughing. The catchy rhymed text is great fun to read, and the story crackles with energy, weaving a message of the power of love and laughter.

I highly recommend this book for any child's library of favorites. They will want to read it again and again.
