Dreams to Grow On
By Christine Hurley Deriso
Illustrated by Matthew Archambault

We all dream of the future and wonder what it will bring. Every child imagines what it will be like to be an adult, and dreams of being many things. In this imaginative story by Christine Hurley Deriso, a young girl explores the exciting possibilities of various occupations.

This book encourages children to think about the future and what they would like to be when they grow up. The marvelous full-color illustrations by Matthew Archambault are a visual feast that are as inspiring as the lyrical verse of the story as the young girl practices all the things she might want to be. Great for independent reading or read aloud to share the experience and encourage your children to let their imaginations rise to new heights.

I'm really impressed with Illumination Arts books for children. All that I've seen have had striking illustrations and inspirational stories that children love to read.
