Faerie
Dragnofire Series Book 3
By Jody Bergsma

In this spellbinding fantasy about Nagala, the land of the faeries and elves, there are storms and obscure menaces that threaten to destroy their world. Rhiannon, the beautiful Queen of the Faeries, sends her trusted unicorn, Skyla, and three of the rainbow faeries to the land of Lugin to see what has happened to Gryphon, and to discover how to dispel a coming darkness.

Jody Bergsma's characters are compelling and the plotting is without flaw as this rich fantasy unfolds to enchant youngsters. Her acclaimed full-color watercolor illustrations adorn every page. Her spiders and goblins provide chills, and when Kevin lands at the warty feet of the ugly Queen Woldy, the goblins chain his neck. The old Queen drags him off with her, and the suspense escalates. The ultimate triumph of the beautiful faeries is so satisfying.

This is a marvelous read-aloud story to be enjoyed with the whole family.
