W.I.T.C.H.
series, No. 3
Adapted by Elizabeth
Lenhard
“With
power, comes great responsibility.” Will, the leader of the
Protectores of the Veil, understands how important it is that she,
Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay-Lin (W.I.T.C.H.) take their powers
and their role in protecting the world from the evils of Metamoor
seriously. The others, however, have become a little too competitive
for their own good. Their magical abilities are dividing them more
than uniting them. It’s up to Will to help her friends open
their eyes and begin to unite their powers, not use them to one-up
each other. Besides, they have more important things to deal with.
Now
that their friend, Elyon, has possibly become a player in Metamoor’s
plot to take over the world, they have to find out where she is.
What’s worse is more and more monsters surfaced in Heatherfield,
and some of them are people the girls’ know. With everything
becoming more and more critical, the girls set out to find out what
to do next. Little did they know it would involve going to the one
place where they would be outnumbered dramatically.
This
is the third book of the series and continues where the last book
left off, making it easier for readers of the series to keep from
getting confused. There are spoilers about the previous books in
the series, but not enough to keep a fan from reading them. It’s
an exciting adventure that will leave all who read it begging for
more. I have become a huge fan of the series’ and can’t
wait to read more.
