Mirror, Mirror…
Fortune
Tellers Club, No. 6
By Dotti Endele
I remember
being thirteen and obsessing over my mirror image -- my nose was
too big, my upper lip too thin, my hair to brown -- and now I know
none of the horrifying things I saw in the mirror were actually
seen by anyone else. Mirrors and perception play key roles in the
6th Fortune Tellers outing: Mirror, Mirror…. Wisecracking
Gina has never exactly liked mirrors, but she really learns to appreciate
her own reflection when a strange girl takes over Gina's mirrors.
Who is this girl and why is she haunting Gina's mirror? The Fortune
Teller's Club breaks out some unusual cures for Gina's mirror problem
and this book has some truly funny moments that make it an enjoyable
read. We won't run into the kind of monumental changes we saw in
Gina's last adventure, but readers will find themselves gaining
new appreciation for their own nice, normal mirror images.
