The Baby Chicks are Singing / Los Pollitos Dicen

     My daughter loved this book. She loved being able to hear the Spanish and English version of this traditional song (the English words are on the left page of each spread and the Spanish words are on the right). We've been singing this little song around our house ever since the day we first opened the book. The illustrations are sweet and lively, showing a farm full of animals. We especially loved the busy hen slipping through a gaggle of geese on her search for food for her chicks. The farm animals are soft and friendly giving the whole book a cozy charm. The cover has cheery foil accents on the red comb of the hen. For any family wanting to introduce a second language, this book is a charming addition.
