Brassy The Fire Engine Saves the City
by Dennis Smith
Illustrated by Justin Miller
Brassy The Fire Engine Saves the City has the most adorable anthropomorphized vehicle
I've ever seen. Move over Dumpy the Dump Truck - this guy is cute! Brassy is a small fire
engine with a hard working heart and some best firefighter friends: Captain Bill, Firefighter
Pat and Firefighter Nancy. Brassy does a great job for the city until progress inevitably
pushed a little firefighter out to a less used fire station. Until...well, as the title
tells you - he saves the city. There are no surprises in this story but it moves along
nicely and the illustrations are so sweet that you just want to hug the little truck.
This book would be especially great for very young children at the fire truck obsession
age. They can learn a little about fire stations and fire trucks. So, if you have a junior
firefighter in your family, Brassy might be the perfect buddy for him. |
