The Enchantment Forest
Classic Fairytales from Many Lands: Volume One and Volume Two
Narrated by Dana Johnson and Donald O'Donovan
Fairytales have been a large part
of every culture in the world, and now there are two volumes of
these beloved masterpieces for adults and children alike to enjoy.
Narrated by Dana Johnson and Donald O'Donovan, these tales from
around the world are brought to life in a story/play style that
makes it easier for the children to get into the story and understand
what is going on. Tales like Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks
and the Three Bears are two of the better-known, and there are
some like The Little Snow Girl and The Fisherman and his
Wife that are less known but still great tales with good lessons
behind them.
Being from a household
where we've been constantly entertained by the stories and legends
of the past through books, TV, movies, or relatives, I've always
been fond of the nature of a fairytale. My favorite has always been
Little Red Riding Hood because of its message about not talking
to strangers. It's good message to send, and these stories will
not only entertain, but teach, as well. I recommend them for anyone
who wants something more constructive (as well as fun) for their
kids to listen to, or is just up for something good to listen to
themselves. |
