You Only Have Nine Lives
The Stink Files: Dossier 003

by Holm & Hamel

James Edward Bristlefur (A.K.A. "Mr. Stink) has gone from being the pet and aid of a late MI9 agent to the new spokescat for "Le Chat Gourmet" cat food. Quite a jump for someone who’s been nearly killed a dozen times by another cat who even had Mr. Stink's tag changed to send him off to the wastelands of New Jersey. Now Macavity is on the loose and on Mr. Stink's tail as Stink and his family vacation in France for the photo shoot and announcements for the cat food company. Stink soon finds himself in danger once again, but this time it seems like Macavity may have the upper paw...after all...a cat only has nine lives...right?

I love "The Stink Files" series and was excited to see the latest installment of this saucy cat-mystery/adventure saga was up for review. I love the humor and dialogue of the animals between each other. It's nice to see all the old characters back for another adventure with their friend and ally. I couldn't put it down until after I had found out what had happened and even then I wished I had the next book to go on to already. It's an awesomely fun read.
