Dawg Catches Rat
Third in a series

by Kam Ruble

This latest adventure of Angel Randy and Angel Jay starts out with a bang, as both of them assume their pet personas of collie and talking parrot. This time they find themselves at the local pound, totally in the dark about the special mission that God has for them. When they are adopted by a kindly elderly woman, they soon find out that their mission is to help her catch a thief. That bit of undercover work not only allows them to find her missing loot, but helps the woman regain her peace of mind and reassures her family that she isn’t senile.

Author Kam Ruble has a winning combination in Dawg Catches Rat. Jay and Randy are funny, likeable characters, and Ruble has concocted a good mystery. Children will really enjoy reading about the angels’ latest adventure. Ruble also starts the action right away with Randy and Jay in the pound and lets the mystery unfold.

In addition to the Dawg series, Ruble will release a print picture book later this year, called Princess Annado Tandy’s Versery Rhymes.
