Stanley the Stinkbug Goes to Camp
by Max Lucado
Renowned Christian author and speaker, Max Lucado, has done it again, this time for kids!
In his new release, Stanley the Stinkbug Goes to Camp, the author makes use of
beautiful, fast-moving animation sequences, well-known actors, and emotions common to
us all.
Stanley is a stinkbug who has a problem. He is offensive to others and has endured
repeated rejection, resulting in fear of further rejection.
This DVD deals with many issues, not only Stanley's problem, but its root cause, and
God's take on the issue. The author makes the case that God created Stanley exactly the
way He intended; God never makes mistakes. This knowledge frees Stanley to see himself
in a new light, and, in turn, helps others to deal with him in a new way.
This DVD is delightful in every regard. The storyline is clever, funny and logical.
The voice actors do a great job bringing their characters to life, and the animation and
use of color are state of the art, a treat to the eye.
For any parent or grandparent looking for ways to communicate God's truth to children,
this reviewer can only say you won't go wrong with Max Lucado's Stanley the Stinkbug
Goes to Camp. |
