Princess Natasha: Can It
Princess Natasha series, # 5

by KOL & Stephanie Peters

If you’re looking for the next Newbery winner, pass this book by, but if you’re looking for a quick read and a little adventure look no further than this 5th book in the Princess Natasha series. Based on the Cartoon Network character, this book finds Princess Natasha trying to stop the evil villain, Lubek, from ruining Zoravia’s national New Year’s Eve party by showering it with tons of garbage. The adventure starts on a snowboarding trip in Illinois and spans a landfill, a jet plane, and ends up in Natasha’s home country of Zoravia just seconds before midnight on New Year’s Eve.

Natasha, a quick witted "student, secret agent, princess" would be appealing to tween girls and reluctant readers. Look for the next book in the series to appear in February 2007.
