Here is THE book to spark children's creative drive and get their imaginations going in high gear. Courtney Watkins has compiled ideas to banish boredom forever; "Zillions of ideas for things to squish, wonder about, play, squint at, invent, decorate, do, smell, imagine, investigate, paint, make, puzzle over and dream."
Kids can learn how to find fun in everyday living and by using their own imaginations. The ideas in this book are taken from Courtney's own creative childhood. Courtney even invented an instant bedmaker. I wish I'd had one of those as a kid!
There are six high interest sections: My World, Artsy Fartsy, Friends and School, Fun and Games, Out and About, and Ideas, Wishes, Secrets and Fears. It's fully illustrated with photos and drawings, and using materials already in every home the directions are simple enough for children from preschool to middle school. This book caters to nearly every childhood interest and situation
Courtney even makes the dreaded
command, "go to your room!" an adventure.
