Every kid likes to laugh, and these hilarious poems are rollicking fun. Divided into eight different categories, like Giants and Dinosaurs, Peculiar Characters and others, there is something to tickle everyone's funnybone. With vampire baseball bats and storms of frozen vegetables, illustrated so well by Allen's line drawings the kids will be wishing for more. Some of the poems have been previously published and some are brand new just for this collection.

Kennedy's word usage is pure genius. This is my kind of poetry. It rhymes, it tells a story, and it's great fun to read aloud and read together. This will be a favorite addition to your child's library.
