      I’ve been a fan of Milne’s writing since I can remember. I fell in love with Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends when I was very young and the poetry Milne gives us in this set of books is absolutely heavenly! I found myself reverting to when I was a kid and reveling in the idea of having adventures as fun as Christopher Robin’s. I own nearly all of Milne’s children’s books, these included, and I have to say that these audio CDs are going to be used and used and used when I have kids of my own. They’re filled with the innocence of a child’s imagination and passion for the world they’re living in. These sets of poetry are great additions to ANYONE’S library.

     Miranda Richardson is best known for her roles in movies like “The Crying Game” and “The Hours”, but she’s also been a major player in three “Blackadder” series that are still seen on television. She is a two-time Oscar nominee and will be seen in upcoming movies like “The Phantom of the Opera” and “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” I’ve been a huge fan of hers since I saw the Blackadder series on BBC America and was THRILLED when I saw she was the performer on this set of discs. Her breathy voice and incredible vocalizations make Milne’s poetry come alive even more.

    I highly recommend this set of audio books to anyone who is a child or a child at heart. They’re MARVELOUS!
