16 letters of the alphabet matched to an equal number of trains
in this unique picture book. Each train features the letter
of the alphabet and the short, rhyming text tells a little
bit about each train. For example, the letter “Z”
is for the California Zephyr passenger train, while “U”
highlights a unit freight train and “N” is written
on the engine of a narrow-gauge locomotive.
The illustrations aren’t as detailed as some train buffs
might like, but for young children who like trains, they are
just fine. So climb aboard and enjoy these different types
of trains that also teach the A-B-Cs!
