Aislinn NiSorar is a Druid princess of ancient Ireland. Her past is shrouded in mystery and her search to learn what her past is leads to events that will change her future and that of Ireland.

Her path crosses that of Cormac MacArt, the ancient king of Ireland who wants to find the one true God for the Irish people. Their beliefs are in conflict with each other and Aislinn must decide whether to abandon her ancient beliefs for the new ones.

For anyone interested in Irish history, this is a necessary addition. It develops the progress of Ireland from a pagan to a Christian land. The conflicts over religion and power are excellently portrayed. The story is beautifully written. The characters are lifelike. The character of Aislinn is very appealing.
