Marie, MyShelf.Com DESECRATION is number nine in the LEFT BEHIND series, and like all the rest of the books in the series it begins exactly where the previous book, THE MARK, leaves off. Nicolae is determined to rule Israel. However his gross and perverse desecration of the temple in Jerusalem is so abhorrent that even those who have already taken the mark of the beast, begin to doubt Nicolae's claims of godhood. And, many of those who were previously undecided, now make the decision that will change their lives for eternity. They make this decision in face of mounting trials and outright warfare waged by the Global Community forces, under Nicolae's direction. Lives are lost, hearts are broken, yet still the faithful and the undecided persist in trying to foil Antichrist's bid for world dominion. DESECRATION is written in the same fast-paced, page turning style of all the rest of the books in the LEFT BEHIND series, and readers will not be disappointed.
