Fran
Whitler lives in a small community where everyone knows everything about
their neighbors. But little do the townspeople know that Fran has her
share of secrets. Andy Paul decides to take a break from work and vacation
in the area, where he meets Fran. He is instantly attracted to her. They
spend some time together and seem to hit it off very well.
The
town, however, is soon turned upside down when a group of thugs kidnap
Fran's daughter. Now that the truth about her is finally coming out, Fran
turns to Paul for help. Paul, a former Navy Seal, takes control of the
situation.
I was
impressed with the descriptive details of the characters in the story.
The author was able to paint very vivid pictures in my mind of the characters
and scenery. Fran was a character that I particularly admired, because
even after her child was taken, she maintained her cool, and was able
to think rationally.
The
story line is also quite easy to follow. The tale provides some insight
into Fran and Andy's past, just to allow the reader to get to know the
characters and see how certain events in their past brought them to their
present situation. What risks are they willing to take in order to get
Fran's daughter back? You'll have to read the book to find out.
