What a truly wonderful
and touching story about overcoming life's obstacles! This is the story
of Anya Mitchell, an African-American female that seems to have it all:
her own business, a loving and caring man, a strong belief in Jesus, and
a very supportive family. After one terrible night, it seems like Anya's
life is crashing down around her. Anya, however, is able to pull through
with the help of her belief in Jesus.
This is a very well
written book. The author puts the reader inside Anya's head and makes
them pull for her to come through her ordeals. The descriptions of the
characters are wonderful. The plot is not unrealistic, and has a few hidden
twists that keep it from being predictable. There is a lot of religious
content, but rather than detract from the basic plotline, it helps to
add to the hope of Anya's character.
I recommend this book
to anyone looking for an enjoyable read with some tragedy and hope involved.
This is an enchanting book that is very easy to understand and enjoy.
