The Glorious Cause

     In The Glorious Cause, Jeff Shaara continues the saga of the beginning of our nation.

All are told in powerful narration, which gives the reader the feeling of experiencing the despairs and the triumphs of the men who were struggling to bring their dream of independence to fulfillment.

      This is a volume which, with its companion, Rise to Rebellion, should be required reading for all history students. In fact, it should be a "must read" for all Americans. It would give them an understanding and appreciation of the sacrifices that were made that we might have the freedom we now enjoy.
