The
Magic Formula
By Michael
J. Roads
Have
you ever felt so overwhelmed that you thought there was no light
at the end of the tunnel? Have you ever been confused on why your
life has not been the best that you have wanted? The Magic Formula
addresses these questions in a fictional story-like way. It introduces
the reader to Mike and his group of male friends that he has had
since his high school days. These friends agree to meet every ten
years to come together and remember the good old days. Throughout
the years, they discover that most of them are not as happy as they
would like to be. Enter The Magic Formula.
The
Magic Formula is unlike most self-help books in the fact that
it reads as a story instead of a list of things to do, which adds
to the friendliness of the book. It does seem more geared towards
men but women can also appreciate what Mr. Roads is trying to get
through. It reads very smoothly and keeps the reader entertained
throughout the book. It is simplistic in its plot line and characterization.
