Sisters Three

     Lizzie Peabody has three daughters.

     Polly, married to the questionable Dominic Manone, lives in luxury, but is unhappy in her marriage, and involved in an affair with Dominic's right hand man, Tony Lombard.

     Babs is married to Jackie Hallop, whose garage business which is really an automotive chop shop that is financed by her sister's shady husband, Dominic. Third sister Rosie is unmarried, deaf, and working as a research cataloguer for a publisher. She falls in love with Kenneth MacGregor, a police detective who is investigating Dominic.

     When Dominic becomes involved in a dangerous project which will threatens the stability of the British government as well as his life and that of his family, everyone's future hangs in the balance.

     Set in London during the time immediately preceding the beginning of England's entrance in World War II, Sisters Three captures the atmosphere of the times and place, giving voice to the prevailing tumultuous emotions. It the engrossing and warm story of the love and loyalty of these women, and their struggle to survive the problems confronting them.
