Tales
from the Labyrinth
By Michael
Acton and Tony McNamara
Tales from the Labyrinth is
a wonderful collection of short stories by two talented authors.
Michael Acton began his career as a writer in the early 80's as
a form of therapy. His first effort won a short-story competition
and encouraged him to keep writing.
Tony McNamara wrote his first story
in school. He received a high grade from a very tough teacher, and
this encouraged him to continue. Tales from the Labyrinth is his
first attempt at having his work published.
The stories in this collection are
both diverse and fresh. You go from the prize winning "Sea
Boots," a fantastical ghost story, to the nerve-wracking
tale of "The Epidemic" The range of emotion and
territories covered is great. The reader never knows from one turn
of the page to the next what these two talented authors have in
store for them. After finishing the book I must say, "Sea
Boots" will still remain my favorite story.
Mike Acton and Tony McNamara are currently
working on a second anthology and are seeking contributions.
