The
Wedding
By Nicholas
Sparks
Mr.
Sparks has done it again with another fabulous book. In this book,
Mr. Sparks tells the story of Wilson Lewis, the son-in-law of Allie
and Noah Calhoun from The Notebook. Wilson attempts to show
his wife, Jane, that he still loves her and succeeds in showing
her in several romantic ways. Wilson attempts to overcome his difficulties
of expressing himself and his deepest feelings.
Mr.
Sparks is one of the few authors who have been able to get his readers
to cry and laugh in the same book. He is able to do that through
his deep characterization of his characters. Wilson's character
development is extremely well developed and the reader feels his
joy and pain of his love for Jane. The plot is simplistic and a
little bit predictable. Even though it is slightly predictable,
it does not take away from the reader's joy of turning each page
and seeing what happens.
This
reader continues to hope that Mr. Sparks does not stop writing his
beautiful love stories and hopes that he continues pulling at readers'
heartstrings.
