Mary Jane Mission
By Daniel Wyatt

In August of 1945, A B-29 Super Fortress bomber was found in the jungles of Guam. There seemed to be no damage to the vegetation around it, only grass beneath the landing gear. The name etched on its side was Mary Jane. This noble plane was noted for the painting of a glamorous redhead in a tight, one-piece bathing suit. The plane had disappeared without a trace, along with her crew. Colonel Cameron, being the commanding officer, was familiar with the plane and her crew.

Lieutenant Les Shilling of the U.S. Navy had twice come in contact with an unidentifiable flying object. It had disappeared without a trace before he could even get close. The unidentified object in the sky is the Mary Jane. Les establishes radio contact, and learns its mission is to drop an atomic bomb on Kyoto. The crew and the Mary Jane had somehow slipped through a time warp. How will it effect this century?

The Mary Jane Mission is, without a doubt, intriguing. The story unfolds piece by piece, and with each chapter, a new discovery or a part of the mystery is filled. I was totally enchanted with this story. Before you read the final page, you will ask yourself the ultimate question. “What If?” This book comes highly recommended; it is best described as exciting and thrilling.
