Tangled
Up in Daydreams
By Rebecca Bloom
Readers
are introduced to Molly, a sophisticated young woman, residing in
Los Angeles, with her own jewelry designs, in Tangled Up in
Daydreams. Molly is heavily involved with Liam, an up-and-coming
rock musician, whom she met at a bar. They quickly started a loving
relationship. Molly is soon faces challenges in her relationship
with Liam. She turns to her family to try and figure out what she
wants to do with Liam and her own life.
Tangled
Up in Daydreams can seem confusing at times as Molly's daydreams
are so integrated into the main story of present day. The title
is extremely fitting for this novel. Ms. Bloom has done a good job
of developing Molly's character and the relationship with Liam.
At first this reader was taken aback by how quickly the relationship
was developed, but was thankful to learn that the characters wanted
to--and did--go back and learn about each other.
Tangled
Up in Daydreams expresses the importance of strong relationships
in both family and friendships. Tangled Up in Daydreams
emphases the great need that most people have in keeping love and
hope alive in all kinds of relationships.
